NUR Label Partner Trust and Ethics Charter
Every NUR Label partner accepts this charter when applying, then signs it with their agreement. October 2026 version.
The partner’s commitments.
Honesty towards the buyer
The partner presents each vehicle fairly. They hand over or show the buyer the complete NUR Label certificate, whatever the result, including a Not validated result, and they inform the buyer of any defect, damage or charge they are aware of.
Independence of the result
The result of an inspection is established by NUR Label in full independence. The partner never intervenes in this result: they neither try to influence it, nor change it, nor present a partial version of it.
Access to the vehicle and transparency
The partner gives the inspector full access to the vehicle, its keys and its documents. They provide authentic and complete documents, and report any element useful to the inspection.
Compliance with the law
The partner applies all the rules on the sale of vehicles: Car-Pass less than two months old, legal warranty, consumer information, price display, tax and social rules. They have an active company number and the authorisations needed for their activity.
Fight against fraud
The partner refuses any vehicle whose origin, identity or mileage they suspect. They report to NUR Label and to the authorities any suspicion of theft, cloned vehicle, tampered odometer or false document.
Fair use of the label and the number
The NUR Label label and the partner number only appear on vehicles that have actually been inspected, and in the terms provided by NUR Label. The partner presents themselves as a “NUR Label partner garage” or “NUR Label partner”, and never with other wording.
Inspected stock
For the “inspected stock” partnership, every used vehicle offered for sale is inspected by NUR Label before its sale, under the protocol. New vehicles fall under the New Vehicle Certificate.
Data protection
The partner processes their customers’ data in compliance with the GDPR. They only pass on to NUR Label the information useful for the inspection.
Training
The partner and their team take part in the anti-fraud training offered by NUR Label, at least once a year.
Checks
NUR Label may check compliance with the charter at any time: inspection of a vehicle, review of listings, customer feedback. The partner facilitates these checks.
Withdrawal
In the event of a breach, NUR Label may suspend or withdraw the label, the partner number and the benefits, and remove the partner from nurlabel.be. A serious breach leads to immediate withdrawal.
Duration
The charter applies for the whole duration of the agreement. It may change: the partner is informed and accepts each new version.
By applying, the partner declares that they have read this charter and undertakes to respect it. They sign it with their agreement.
