NUR Label

The certificate

What was verified, in black and white, dated and able to be authenticated.

A document made to be read.

The Vehicle Identity Certificate can be read just as easily by the buyer as by the professional. On the front, the essentials. On the back, the rules for reading it.

What the front shows

  • The vehicle’s identity and its NUR
  • The check mode and the date
  • The level of the file
  • The summary of checks
  • The documented warranty, if there is one
  • The authentication QR code

Four levels, no hidden calculation.

The level is not the result of adding up points, where a good mark would make up for a bad one. A single blocking point is enough to prevent certification.

A

The file can be certified: identity, documents and consistency are established.

AA

Additional independent elements confirm the file.

AAA

All the available confirmations are in place, with no significant uncertainty.

NV

Not validated. The file cannot be certified as it stands.

The level describes how solid the file is, not the vehicle’s state of wear. NV does not mean fraud, danger or illegality: the vehicle can be reassessed, and the earlier result stays in the history.

Reading a certificate means reading seven elements.

Never the level on its own. An “AA” obtained after an on-site examination does not say the same thing as an “AA” obtained on documents.

  • The modeCI, CC, CD or CN.
  • The dateThe certificate describes the situation on that date.
  • The NUR and the report numberThe NUR follows the vehicle; each check has its own report.
  • The levelA, AA, AAA or NV.
  • The scope and the limitsWhat was assessed, and what was not.

Three items that confirm one another.

No security feature is enough on its own. It is the fact that they match that authenticates the chain between the certificate and the vehicle.

NUR Label certificate

The paper certificate

It carries a QR code. By scanning it, you consult the status of the file as it is recorded, not a frozen copy.

NUR Label holographic seal

The vehicle seal

Hologram and NFC chip, applied during a Full Inspection. It links the vehicle to its file.

NUR Label personal card

The personal card

The holder’s NFC card. It is used to identify them, with a second verification, for access to their file. It is not a means of payment.

The public verification shows only what is necessary: the NUR, the status, the mode, the level and the date. Never a name, an address or an identity document.

Certification and warranty: two different things.

NUR Label certification describes what was verified. It does not guarantee the vehicle.

When a warranty exists, the manufacturer’s or the seller’s, the certificate states it on the basis of the contract: its duration and its reference. NUR Label is not the guarantor of any warranty.
